Virginia Landscapes

“I’m lucky to have my 30 minute commute to the studio through farm country .It’s such a peaceful drive- the cows are grazing, there’s a wide creek to cross, plenty of pastures with ponds, trees, and of course I’m traveling during the best times of day for some golden light effects, early morning and late afternoon. This week round bales of hay lay beautifully on many fields and I can’t resist painting them. Inspiration comes easy.” ~ Todd Brown
